So last year's American Idol winner Jordin Sparks came in concert to The Scera Shell (I know, right? Kinda weird venue). She has got a couple of really popular songs right now on the radio and my sister Jamie and her friends went to go see her. About a minute into singing her big hit "Tatoo" she decided she wanted an audience member to come up and sing the song with her and thanks to some impressive lifting talents of Jamie's friend Jaremy, Jamie was chosen to go up there.
Now, if any of you know Jamie, you know that she harmonizes incessantly to any song she listens to. Of course, us singers do that a lot, but seriously....it is a crazy obsession with her and well, it finally paid off!
This is a really bad video posted by some random person on YouTube, she has a better copy taken by someone else closer in the audience but it doesn't have the whole beginning and end where she bounds sprite-like on and off the stage. So, check it out (she shows up around a minute into the song) and make sure to click on the blog link below "Just Jamie" and send her some comments regarding her star turn at the good ole Scera Shell.
(PS...a disclaimer by Jamie: she was really, really nervous and totally choked on the high note Jordin wanted her to sing, but she can totally do it she says...)
